What this site collects today

There is no account system on this site, and nothing here asks for more than a first name and an email address. Two things collect information: the analytics and advertising tools described in the next section, and the opt-in forms — the subscribe block near the bottom of most pages, and the free-guide forms on the Super Visa insurance checklist pages. Whatever you enter is used to send you the content you asked for. It is never sold. The Contact page separately uses a plain email link, so anything you send from there goes directly to that inbox, not stored by this website.

Analytics and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and how they found them. It sets cookies and collects a limited set of technical information: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and the referring site or campaign.

When we run advertising campaigns, two more tools are active on the pages those ads point to. Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads conversion trackingeach record when someone who clicked an ad goes on to request a guide, so we can tell which ads were worth running. Both set cookies and send that event information to Meta and Google respectively, where it may be used for advertising measurement and audience building under those companies' own privacy policies. Google and Meta process it on their own infrastructure, which is generally outside Canada.

If you would rather not be measured this way, browser cookie controls, tracking protection, and ad blockers all stop these tools from loading. Nothing on this site depends on them — every guide, article, and download works exactly the same with them blocked.

If you subscribe or request a free guide

Both are optional, and both ask for two things: your first name and your email address. That information is sent to MailerLite, the email delivery platform this site uses, and is used only to send you the content you signed up for — not personalized financial advice, not product recommendations, and not a guarantee of any result. MailerLite stores and processes it on its own infrastructure, outside Canada. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe at any time, and unsubscribing stops all of it.

If you arrived from an ad, the campaign that referred you is recorded alongside your subscription so we know which ads are worth running. That is campaign-level information — the ad, not anything about you personally.

If you book a Financial Health Check-up

Booking currently happens through an external scheduling tool, not a form hosted on this site. That tool's own privacy practices apply to whatever information you provide there, separately from this website.

If this changes

Any future feature that collects additional personal information — a contact form, an account system — will come with an update to this page describing exactly what's collected, why, and how it's used, reviewed against Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) before it ships, not after.
